Here are some tips on what to do in September.
Summer is ending and a year goes by: are you sure? Our beaches are still crystal clear and the heat is still costly (here you can find an article on the next forecast). So if the weather is good or if the weather is crazy, there are still many things to do for the month in which everyone returns from vacation (or maybe leaves).
1. Go to the sea on our shores
What's better than taking advantage of that time of year when there are no large crowds of people? In addition, we tell you that for many weekends the weather will remain stable. San Benedetto del Tronto, Gabicce Mare, sirolo, Numana, Portonovo, Porto San Giorgio they are our pearls of our region. Take advantage of it and also know that starting from the end of September our four-legged friends can be freely taken for a walk by the sea.
2. Go and see a good exhibition
There are three exhibitions not to be missed right now: one is dedicated to the death of Leonardo da Vinci and one also for the 500th anniversary of Raffaello Sanzio. We therefore advise you not to miss the exhibition "From Raphael. Raffaellino del Colle"Which was inaugurated on May 14 (naturally ad Urbino) and which will remain open until 13 October. On this same day the exhibition will end "Leonardo and Vitruvius: beyond the circle and the square. In search of harmony. The legendary drawings of the Codex Atlanticus”At the Archaeological Museum and Picture Gallery of the Malatesta Palace in Fano. Last but not least "Agostino Iacurci. Tracing Vittorio. Dream journey through the pages of De architectura"At Palazzo Mosca a Pesaro (this exhibition will also remain open until October 13th).
3. Go to the Clown & Clown Festival
We are at the 15th edition of this wonderful festival which takes place in the beautiful village of Monte San Giusto (which among other things because of this earned him the name of City of Smiles). The festival was conceived by the Mabò Band 15 years ago and over the years has seen numerous prominent figures from the world of laughter (from actors to comedians through voluntary associations, experts, psychologists and clowns). This year the 15th edition takes place since September 29 up to 6 October.
4. Go to the Boomdabash concert
The well-known band originally from Puglia landed in the Marche after their successes in Sanremo (their song was For a million) and around Italy in numerous concerts. Particularly awarded by the radio for their summer hits in particular for theirs Mambo Salentino, the group comes to matelica on 6 September. Do you know why they are called that? Boom da bash or "explode the shot".
5. Enjoy the colors of September in the mountains
The temperature is certainly milder than the summer one so you can certainly plan an excursion in our Sibillini Mountains. We suggest two itineraries in particular: the Great Ring of the Sibillini and a visit to the cave of the Sibilla & surroundings to discover how much magic there is to discover in our territory.
