Introduction

The Conero Riviera is the central coastal part of the Marche. It is precisely the coastal area that starts in the north from the city of Ancona, the capital of the Marche region, and ends further south with Portorecanati. Area of infinite beauty, not only because of the sea and the varied beaches, but also for the presence of Monte Conero and the Conero Park. The main seaside destinations of the Conero Riviera are: Sirolo, Portonovo, Numana, Portorecanti. There are also ancient villages to explore, behind the area close to the sea: Osimo, Camerano, Castelfidardo, Recanati, Offagna, Polverigi. The area of the Conero Riviera acquires even more importance if we consider Loreto: a sacred town for the presence of the Holy House, which has always been a destination for believers and pilgrims. The Province of Ancona continues inland with hilly areas and ancient villages to explore. Jesi and Fabriano represent two cities of the hinterland, with many cultural themes to visit and discover. Vallesina, linked to the production of Verdicchio wine, is dotted with many small hill towns, ideal destinations for a relaxing holiday.
