The health walk on the Conero a few km from Numana
There is a path on the nearby Monte Conero, particularly suitable for a walk in the pursuit of psycho-physical health. We will show you an experience to do a few km from Numana, which aims to train your body in the midst of the beauty of the Conero Park. We have identified a path suitable for everyone, which does not present particular technical difficulties and does not have an excessive difference in height. It starts near the hamlet of Massignano, and you will arrive at a large panoramic expanse, Pian di Raggetti. This is the path 306, the Sant'Andrea path. We will go to offer you some gymnastic exercises to do both before leaving, and once you have reached your destination. For this important contribution, we had the kind advice of Dr. Vittoria Mancinelli, a well-known physiotherapist in the area.
The Sant'Andrea path starts right next to theex quarry of Massignano, which is a place of great scientific interest for geology enthusiasts. The path crosses a rural landscape, dotted with many types of plants and flowers, especially in spring. As the small road gently climbs, you will be able to admire a fantastic view towards the hinterland of the Marche. Then you will come to penetrate a wood, made mainly of pines and holm oaks. After about 1 hour of easy, slow and constant walking you will reach a grassy plain: Pian di Raggetti. This is a very suggestive place, due to the peaceful and blissful atmosphere, which seems made for meditating and practicing some physical exercise. You can spend intriguing moments, pampered by the beauty of nature, to admire breathtaking sunsets.
Exercises recommended before leaving
We show you some simple exercises, recommended by the physiotherapist Vittoria Mancinelli, to do before embarking on the path. You can sit for the execution of these healthy movements, right in the grove adjacent to the sign that signals the start of the Sant'Andrea Path. Here are trees to lean on to keep you balanced. These are exercises that aim to loosen ankles, knees, pelvis, and to stretch the muscles of the lower limbs: therefore necessary in order to acquire the right conditions before a walk.
