The most beautiful photos of the winter sea in Fano
The winter sea is “a concept that the thought does not consider” singing Ruggeri or maybe even one of the shows that Nature offers. Today, we went to comb through the archive of one of the most important photographic agencies, Getty Images, and we bring a selection of the best photos that describe the winter sea in Fano.
We chose this location because there will be the parade floats of the oldest Carnival in Italy through the streets of the town in the province of Pesaro Urbino. Then, to be prepared on what to see or what to expect from this town we thought we would provide you with a photographic guide.
In the summer, in addition to one of the best beaches in the Marche region, Fano hosts the fantastic Festival of the Sea, the tradition is to remember the fallen fanesi of the sea with a parade of ships from the old port to the open sea, and then a crown of laurel is thrown. In the evening, some fireworks light up the sea. This festivity is very widespread in the Marche, it is carried out by over thirty years in Fano, indeed, but also in Ancona, Porto San Giorgio, Campofilone and for more than ten years in Porto Recanati and Porto Civitanova).
Its water has been awarded several times for its purity and its maritime tradition is well known. Thanks also to the sea, the gastronomy of Fano is known all over the world. The fish soup of Fano (there is also the Festival del Brodetto in the city) is one of the specialities that mixes superbly the various types of fish from the Adriatic sea. Cuttlefish, squid, prawn, shrimps, monkfish, mantis shrimps and many other ingredients in a single dish.
